Absolutely.....and the reason it get's aired so often.

Jean Louisa Kelly who played Tia always melted me....especially when 'Buck' eventually wins her affection and respect.

That's the cranky teenager...? she's the reason I no longer watch the film, her sneery face all through the movie riles me. And the woman who plays the mother is beyond dreadful, very wooden.

The Indiana Jones films have been overshared this Xmas too...great first few times round but these days feels like wearing the same socks several days in a row.

Nice of ITV to pull out all the stops and reward us with a New Years day treat, a showing of a film that has been done to death on ITV3 all year.
That decision must have kept the schedulers up all night.

    Buy some new films FFS.

Well lucky you! At least you didnt have to be subdued to a shitty sitcom on all day every day at christmas on GOLD.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles would be good.

They'd cut it to shreds, though. Steve Martin's expletive-ridden rant doesn't even make sense when they trim out all the "f**ks." Having seen it on ITV before, I'm glad they don't repeat it regularly.

Agreed. I didn't mean that they should show it in the afternoon. I'd just like to see different Candy films in general instead of the same ones over and over again.
