A lot of folk seem to be getting rid of their DVDs now, and the prices of (the majority of) second hand discs are especially low. Which is great.
I just used up the last of my CeX credit on some DVDs:-
The 6th Day - £0.25 - Arnie SF action film that I haven't seen before.
The Fountain - £1.50 - Which sounded intriguing. A quick Google shows that it might be one of those films you either love or hate.
Capricorn One/Donnie Darko/The Lawnmower Man/Robocop: Dark Justice - £0.50 - Bought it mainly for Capricorn One, which I haven't seen for a couple of decades.
(Some useful info for anyone miffed about the 1985 Frightnight Blu ray debarcle in America. Its coming out on German blu on September 18th.That will upset some people selling the Twilight time one for silly money.)

6th Day is pretty poor. OTOH The Fountain is a masterpiece with an amazing soundtrack. You have to approach it with a totally open mind though and don`t expect a conventional 3 act story.
The Lord Of The Rings (Extended Edition Boxset)
Snow White & The Huntsman
Mad Max (Trilogy Boxset in 'petrol can' case)
Interview With A Vampire
Thor: The Dark World
Green Hornet
Apocalypse Now (Special Edition 3 disc)
WIngs series 1 (1977) - Vaguely remember watching bits of it back in the day. Just watched the first episode. Seems decent. PQ not so great. It Ain't Half Hot Mum series 1 - Haven't seen this show since it was originally shown on tv. Pole To Pole (Michael Palin) Airwolf season one - Pure nostalgia.
