We've have had a link to a chap called N'Biang but in a strange way I think it's right we prioritise our head coach appointment since he'll have little or no say on transfers anyway :)

Today's team according to Lee Ryder's Twitter:

Starting Line Up: Krul, Janmaat, Coloccini (c), Dummett, Haidara, Sissoko, Anita, Colback, Cabella, Perez and Gouffran.

Subs Bench: Woodman, Santon, Williamson, Abeid, Ameobi, Armstrong and Riviere.

    So another defeat. >:(

If John Carver is charge till the end of the season we'll more than likely be relegated, we need a new manager in.

Proving Carver is incapable of taking the team forward. Having said that, blatant penalty at the end. Shocking decision given the ref had a good view.

So it's Carver until the end of the season at least.

The papers and all the media do maintain that we'll look again for a new coach in the summer but I can't be sure about that. He's still on a long deal.

Either way, I'm just glad the club has now made decision. Carver's job isn't difficult. 10 points is a good first target so 3 wins and a draw will see us to saferty and hopefully we cn get a new coach after that.

    Bring on Hull!

Oh well hopefully (if) we stay in the Premier League this season we can get de Boer or Garde in at the end of the season.

If we take 40pts as the minimum then another 4 wins and a draw will do it. I know that's a horribly pessimistic view of this season but I'll be happy to hit the summer still in the premier league and build with a new manager next season. 4 wins from the remaining 16 games should be realistic shouldn't it? :o

I would of started Cisse and Abeid. Probably our strongest bench for awhile though!

    So we're 1-0 up at half-time.

    Cabella with our goal.

I still think we need Cisse on at the start of the second half though as there is no support for Perez up front.

Very good 3pts and clean sheet was a bonus. I'd love to see us buy a target man who can hold the ball up. At home, it would give us an excellent option and would help bring Perez into the game a little more. I think he's a great little player but we're running him into the ground at times as he has no support.

Still - smiling today after that :)

Here's hoping for several more before the season is out but my goodness Colo needs to buck up his ideas in defence!

It's still early days to judge what's going on at Palace. It was always easy to look at their early results and beatup on Newcastle over it that he'd from that form over from us! I just think it'll be interesting to see if he lasts 4 years at Palace.

At Newcastle he could and should have been gone much sooner!
