I'm sorry, I can't be sure. I seem to have forgotten to take notes or photograph the info panel with these shots. All I know is that they were taken in the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau.
Really like those, especially the mid air one. The D40 was my first dslr, and I really liked it. I've tried to teach myself too, and it takes a bit of commitment to understand it all, but well worth it when it comes together.
Tried to send you a pm (re the lens used in your photos) but your inbox is full I love flower photography and still looking for a lens to give the effect you have achieved in your images... just wanted some advice.

i don't have a camera as such , just use my mobile to take pictures..i do have a cheapish one which i use but always needs recharging the batteries, so don't bother with it much..its ok for my niece to get piccys of her on it, but i haven't got a ''proper camera''..I think photography would interest me too..i just took some piccys now of back garden but a bit meh

Yes mine was part of a set of agility shots, but a tight crop was used due to the distracting background. I am surprised that no-one has picked up on the pro shot having the focus on the tail of the dog, thus putting the head way out of focus.

I'm still using automatic mode as I can't figure out how to change the settings fast enough to film something quickly.
Absolutely gorgeous reflections in that lake image! Love it.
That one would make a good postcard front photo.
Did your camera come with a manual? Plus there's plenty of tutorials online koan to get you into it all - can seem daunting at first.

You could have cloned out that blue in the photo.
As there isnt, this is a very good photography site.
