  most likely because there would be some degree of expectation that an ex-barca player would be above a two-footed leg breaker like that.

  The one which sticks out in my mind is Harold Schumacher's tackle on Patrick Battiston in the '82 World Cup. Not the worst but still pretty brutal. Battiston was seriously hurt and lapsed into a coma. Fortunately, he recovered.
