Hi,I know this probably isn't much but I used a word unscrambler on River Song and it came up with "serving"
I know it probably isn't much but I've head speculation that River song is working for Omega and that could be a clue to if it' true or not.Probably nothing but I thought it would be worth posting

I think it's a looney theory...but it doesn't mean Moffat could not weave it into his own web of intrigue...he is a clever swine.

And what do you do with that extra 'r'?

Obviously, it's 'Serving, or....' indicating the ambiguous nature of her character and her affiliation with the bad guy.

This might be up your steeet then. River Song's army costume arm ' badge' in the angels two parter being the Omega symbol.

That said, 'River Song' is also a song by Dennis Wilson so maybe The Beach Boys are going to be in series 6.:)

I like the idea of there being a Cult of Omega, especially since he was revered by the Time Lords and that could easily have transferred to the lesser races, but I have to point out that the greek Omega letter already has a connection to Christianity.

Yes, it is just you tube stuff and guff, so it more than likely has nothing to do with Omega the character, that just leaves The Beach Boys.:D

Moon - River Song is a simple possibility. I've never found Moffat one for anagrams in the way RTD was. I do get a Gia vibe from River but nothing to substantiate it.

Gia? The Gemological Institute of America?

Or Gia Marie Carangi, the model who was played by Angelina Jolie in the biopic of her, called Gia?

    ;)

    Or Gaia - Mother Earth?

Now, I don't mind Mother Earth, and all that - but as long as it's behind closed doors.

And won't somebody think of the children!!!!!!!!!:eek:

It is ridiculous, how they keep pushing Earth at us - all these stories set on Earth, or New New Earth, episodes about the Earth being hungry or stolen. Why do they always have to make such a big deal of it? Surely the can write a good story without having to mention it all the time?

I mean, I'm not terraphobic (some of my friends are friends with people who are distantly related to others who are descended from inhabitants of the earth), but is a family show that espouses the inclusion of all; and the tolerance of everything, bar intolerance, really the place to be pushing that globular filth?

Do they not know that children watch the show - children whose minds are open to being educated to be tolerant of things which are different? Some say this is a good thing.

    But is it really?

Do we really want a permissive society in the future? One which will readily allow mentions of gaias? What happens when they start discussing K.B.O.s, or planetoids, or white dwarfs?

    It's P.C. gone mad, I tell you... :mad::mad:

Of course, Van Morrison mentions River Song by name in "Crazy Love".

On Moondance! Van the man will be guest starring as Omega? He might need to reign his performances in a bit. Not even Omega is that grumpy.
