    i admit i'm not a dr who fan and havent seen an episode for quite a few years but this is really really boring. now i know why i stopped watching it. shame really as the effects are quite nice

    Maybe it's the amount of wine I've drunk today but I'I haven't a clue what's going on.

    A word of advice to Ms Jenkins - stick to the singing and looking pretty. You aren't an actor.

    Am loving this so far. Don't understand how people are finding it so boring. It doesn't have that much action, so what? This is already my favorite christmas special since the show returned. There's no reason why every episode has to be full of non stop action. I find the lack of some great big alien threat rather refreshing actuelly. Nice story, very christmas-y. :D

    I have to say, if this is the future of Who then all is good. It's an off-beat, eccentric, beautiful mess! So much better than the Tennant era of pastel sweet storylines with everything laid out for you!

    It's nothing to do with the lack of action - I agree that not every episode has to be full of action; it just seems to be a somewhat confused and boring storyline
