How do the free votes work tonight?

Hi sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere, can we use some of the 5 vote in the first vote and then the rest in the second half?

    Wondering that myself, hopefully they will close the voting and reset the online votes for the final final.

    The bbc site says you can vote twice, implies 2 lots of 5!
