Not much you can say really other than how awful and let's hope for the least number of casualties/fatalities possible.

Two explosions at the finish line apparently from inside a hotel.

Any chance of some sort of natural gas explosion or are we looking at terrorism?
I hope the casualties are low :(

Can't believe Sky News are running the footage they are showing right now.

Bloody hell. I have been to Boston many times and know that area very well.

Our US office is very near to the site so it's possible I could know people involved.

Think there will be many severe injuries because many seem to have been trapped by the metal poles used to hold up the seating

You know with all the stuff going on about gun control in the US at the moment, it wouldn't surprise me if this was domestic as a "warning" to the government about what will happen.

The footage I'm seeing doesn't look too graphic - some blood shown from a distance and thats about it?.

If there are any New Kids fans here (quite possibly not but just incase its of interest), apparently Joey McIntyre finished the marathon 5 minutes before the explosions, so he's ok.

The two explosions are quite a way apart, from the US footage.
