Equally, I could easily believe it wasn't.
There's nothing else it could have been.
If he really didn't know it was a Nazi salute, then it's a wonder he's smart enough to get himself dressed on a morning.

Having said that, though, I don't know whether to believe this young man didn't know it was a Nazi salute and wasn't using it in such a manner. That's between him and himself.
