There's plenty more, but here's two scenes in particular that left a great imprint on me: :D

Yes, because I do not think that recasting different actors for the same character works successfully.

    I do... Nu!Ben! isn't going to dance!

Old Ben was so bad he was *almost* good towards the end of his run. :(

Yes I miss the old Ben - if he's not interested in music or opera or dancing or whatever any more, they should show more explicitly why (and what he experienced in prison).

Has Jordan left now then, sorry to ask?
I thought a scene with him and Ben would have been good, but it's not been mentioned, by neither.
Not that they may have wanted to bring it up.
But it could have been mentioned by Denise or someone that Ben was out, ?

With Jordan gone now too, and Lucas, Chelsea, Libby, does it seem likely Denise may want to leave too?
I don't want her too, Dshe has got Kim, who I love as a character - she's hilarious!
And her and D are good together,
but methinks Denise will get lonely/bored and want a fresh start away from Walford.

Well there was whispers about Diane quitting some big announcement soon but never came to anything but unless they give her a storyline soon I wouldn't be surprised if she is written out.

Nah, I like the new Ben. Couldn't stand the old one (couldn't get past the bad acting).

I still think they should go down the gay route with him though, as it seemed their intention with Charlie. Or was that just because he was camper than a row of tents?

you really need explaining that a pale weak nearly girlie boy, perhaps naive enough to mention his liking for tap dancing, will end up as someone's bitch in prison? honestly?

although i'm still on the fence about this new actor, as he hasn't been doing much so far, i am more than happy that the whiner is gone.

I miss old Ben just because he was so unintentionally funny. That scene where he was dancing to Girls Aloud upstairs in the Vic and then when he dressed up like Lady Gaga was some of the campest stuff I've ever seen!

    Not 'old'. Original. :)

And I miss original Lauren with a passion. :(:mad:

I miss him. I miss the original Lauren as well.

But I think it's because both characters took a short break from the square and came back with new heads. Had they been away longer, I'd might just 'accept them'
    does that make sense?

The sight of the original Ben punching Phil would've been worth the television licence itself!

not with a passion but yes i miss him, the orginal ben mitchell was far more funny than the current boy who missed puberty and went straight from milky bar kid to hoody chav in training.
