for sure if this is her week 1 what will she be like in week 5/6 !!!
...... but there is 1 big, big point to make here.
3 acts tonight, in my opinion, have set a pretty damn good pace. Sam, Tamera and Rough Copy ( who for a group and considering I absolutely hate that stuff, did well ). These are the ones who now have no choice but to keep that pace up. Not easy.
We have seen in the past, certain acts who started off like a train and it was like, "WINNER", !!!!! But when they have one bad week, they likely get themselves in trouble. I believe Ruth Lorenzo was one such act. There is another recent one too whose name escapes me.
It is better to start off good and finish brilliant than the other way round. In my mind, I have no doubt that Tamera will NOT win this competition.
It was in her past and it was dealt with. The police were involved but it wasn't taken any further than a telling off. She is sorry for her behaviour and has publicly apologised so isn't it now time to move on
Regarding drug taking as she is only now 16 I think that is something for her parents to deal with tbh.
I didn't notice her that much in the audition stages but thought she was great tonight and I agree with Louie she will give Leona and Alexandra a run for their money.
She has the look of a pop star and the voice is good but I didn't like the comment "I've worked hard for this" when she messed up so many times during her song.
I like her. She is probably the only one who looks and sounds the part. Some of the acts are just never going to sell to the public.
If they put through 12 contestants like her to the live shows then they would have a competition. Some of the contestants haven't got a snowball's chance.
I said to friends Shelley would be in the bottom two.

She's a bit like one of those beautifully wrapped presents under the Christmas trees in department store or office displays. Not saying she can't sing but she's nothing special either.
The other day I saw the Keira Knightly advert which is accompanied by cover of a It's Man's World. I haven't heard any of the singer's tracks for a long time and never heard her sing this particular song before but I knew exactly who she was straight away. I can't see me ever being able to say the same for Tamera.
I don't like the way she comes across, or what I've read about her in the papers, but when I watch her, I see a future star. A British Rihanna. I don't think I could bring myself to vote for her, though, because I've been on the receiving end of bullies, and even if she's trying to change, there will always be a nasty streak buried deep within her.

Perhaps, but success in life should not be the preserve of the upper classes.

Hype-fest!
She doesn't give two cents what others think of her.
Only her supporters, family and friends care to her.
I agree she fails to connect in some way.
I thought the same, either that it the backing track was dominant.
