LM I enjoy you on here, and your right I probably wouldn't message you out of the blue I just find it odd as outside of here I have no idea who you are, it's no reflection on you as a person. I appreciate you confided in me but it was your choice I didn't force you but was happy to listen and help and would be again. But it's your choice what you do from here.

I asked you time and time again if it was ok to message you outside of here. You said it was fine. Clearly you lied. I won't bother with you anymore then if you are going to be like that. You don't mind talking to CNBC outside of here, especially as they have said they have sent you things in Private Messages in previous posts. But then again, one treatment for one person, different treatment for the other. I thought you were a decent nice human being. Well all the personal stuff i told you was crap anyway. You don't enjoy me on here at all. Stop lying. You are no worse than GPK and Josh Pinder. Ye again, using my personal troubles as your advantage to knock me down.

Lm I don't mind you messaging me I really don't. But I just wouldn't message you and have never said otherwise look back at the transcripts if you will, and as for PM-ing CNBC not in ages have I done that. And lastly I have never knocked you down or used any personal issues against you but if that's how you feel have it your way.

But you have still done it, but gladly will do it for them, but not for me. What gives. I do believe you, GPK and Josh have knocked me down to my lowest, by making me think you were my friends. The fact i had told you this HM, is why i am suprised at why you have turned on me. I do believe personal issues of mine have been used against me by all three of you. It's how i feel and will always feel, especially towards you from now on.

    Hello :)

We think that the show will be up and running again from Wednesday. I've felt completely lost without it. :)

Just spent the last hour and a half cleaning my car and trying to get through to BT to try and sort out our internet. The latter was not fun. The problem has not been resolved. They should be sending out another engineer at some point to resolve the problem.

Afternoon Mimi! What happened with your internet? Is there a problem with the 'phone line?

We got BT Infinity. Somebody came out to install it but didn't do it properly so the speed of our internet hasn't changed. We've just spent nearly an hour on the phone to a lady at BT and the problem still hasn't been resolved. I could barely understand what she was saying. It also didn't sound as if she knew what she was talking about, there was lots of shuffling of papers. :( We're going to be having somebody call us tomorrow to see if they can help and if not then we are going to have an engineer sent out.

If it had been set up properly then we wouldn't be having these problems. :(

That's not very good! What kind of engineers have BT got? I actually set up our broadband at home myself. It was an upgrade from dial up and all I had to do was plug the router in and follow instructions. Oh watch out for that porn filter thing too. I think BT has it now as well. When they install it properly make sure to opt out of the filter thing (if you haven't already) to have uncensored internet, otherwise a lot of websites will be blocked. "They" say it's to block porn to protect children but it's really a form of censorship.

Thanks for the tip about censorship, I'll let my parents know. Shouldn't be a problem seeing as we have no children in the family.

I have a question or two for you CNBC, if that's okay? It's to do with iTunes.

My Dad's iPhone 5 turned up today and he needs to sync it with his iTunes account. Problem is, we can't remember his password and he answered his security questions incorrectly. We think that he may have two accounts (under different email addresses). If we're incorrect and he is only registered under one email address and we create him another account, will he lose all of his apps?

    Any help would be appreciated.

I've read a lot about it as I'm an IT lawyer (well sort of) ;-) This censorship thing is pretty dangerous. I read a lot of legit websites got blocked because of it. That's an interesting one. If he backed up his apps to his computer, they'll still be on it but if I'm not sure if they would still be usable if you set up another Apple ID. Alternatively you could try and reset his password. In the worst case scenario he should go to the Apple store and get a Genius to help. Not sure if that'll help but I don't know a lot about iPhones since I have an Android phone and tablet

A lot of people think that a Mac user like me should have an iPhone/iPad but I can't afford them and I prefer Android to Apple iOS anyway. I love my Macs though :D I have yet to find any Windows laptops as good as Macbooks and anyway I hate Windows 8.

Glad to see you are anti censorship, CNBC :D

I have some pretty controversial views on the subject, mostly around the effectiveness (or lack thereof) of blocking child abuse content and illegal downloading sites; as well as the takedown of Megaupload and Silk Road.

I always have been anti censorship. I believe in free speech. The UK is a democratic society and this filter could be a threat to freedom of expression, but the Nanny Government tell us it's for our own good as it supposedly protects children when all it does is censor things. In a few years time the internet in the UK could end up like China's. I worry about the future of the internet. I worry that it's gonna become a walled garden controlled by governments and large corporations (eg Facebook and the entertainment industry). It goes completely against Tim Berners Lee's original idea of the world wide web. It's dangerous IMO.

I guess it was always going to be the case where corporate and government interests try to water down the Internet from a great equaliser to a propaganda machine. Even Tim Berners Lee has changed because he now supports the implementation of DRM in HTML which is the very antithesis of openness and freedom.

Ultimately, though, attempts to control the Internet will fail as we move towards a more decentralised Internet which is next to impossible to control. I look forward to that day.

It's not just governments though, it's corporations as well. The entertainment industry are controlling things by geoblocking certain online streaming services. I can't even watch BBC iPlayer here in Ireland yet I can get all the BBC channels on cable and satellite TV! Facebook are also trying to create a walled garden by encouraging users to do everything through FB rather than the wider internet, sorta like a modern day version of the AOL Portal. It's one reason I stay away from Facebook and other social media. The whole original idea of the world wide web was that it was decentralised and not owned or controlled by anyone and what we have now is going against that.
