I have to ask...why come into a Breaking Bad thread when you haven't watched the whole series yet?

Edit: OK, I didn't see that there was a winky face after that, it didn't come up when I first opened this thread. Apologies.

I started watching it over Christmas on Netflix and (reluctantly) watched the finale last night:cry:

Maybe its just because its fresh in my mind but I loved the machine gun in the back of the car in the final episode. I kind of expected a bomb or something and I was like "WTF!!" :o

I was worried that it was going to end a bit meh but it really went out in a literal blaze of glory.

Shed a little tear at the song at the end

I like the opening scene in one of the episodes in season 5 I think it was.

It's where it flashes right back to the start of Walt making meth and his wife phones him and he tells his first lie about where he is.

It wasn't overly dramatic or full of action but it just showed how far he had fallen or changed.

I think it was in "To’hajiilee"
The drive from the carwash to the place where his money is buried with Jesse on the other end of the phone. With Walt just falling apart because he thought he lost all his money.

Definitely one that sticks in my mind

I loved the scene where Gus gets killed in the home & gets half his face blown off. I won't post the video as it is quite graphic, so may not be allowed under DS rules.

I've seen it 5 times now and I still cry every time.

Walt gets Jesse to kill Gail.
    Gustavo's death.
Walt, Hank and the Nazis in the desert.

I've always found 'I am the one who knocks' to be an incredibly overrated scene to be honest.

Just for interests sake, least favourite scene = the plane crash - that is unquestionably the lowest point in the show's run imo.

I'm still not incredibly convinced Walt is dead.

Just watched the finale last night, so the whole thing is pretty fresh in my mind. IMO...

    * when the penny drops for Hank on the toilet
    * Gus walking out of the room in the nursing home and the camera panning round to show half his face missing before he hits the dirt

Jane's death is the most powerful scene in the series for me .
