The liquorice laces from Woolworths, especially the apple and fizzy apple ones. I've tried many varieties of laces since and none compare to ones Woolies did!

Cherry lips. Not the soft, sweet ones you get today - the proper old gum sweets that tasted like soap. I loved them for some reason. I was always fond of Flying Saucers, Cola Cubes and Pineapple Chunks too.

    Oooh yes and floral gums.

Don't know if it's still there now, but a couple of years ago there was a great little ye olde sweet shop in Belper to help relive childhood sweetie binges! :D

WHAM bars - used to last for ages, think my mam bought me them to shut me up for a bit.

Sherbert Dips - had one recently for old times sake, the lolly is just not the same as it was.

AstroBelts - strips of fizzy, soft, red, chewy, very sour stuff coated in a ridiculous amount of sugar - you could almost feel your teeth dissolving as you ate.

Cherry drops and this other sweet the name of it escapes me. It was always in a individual wrapper and it was strawberry and cream. The packing was pink. Does anyone remember? I think it starts with a C.

Edit - I actually quickly found it within one minute of searching it online. Campino. God I use to love those sweets. Haven't had it in YEARS!

Texan bars, pacers, pink panthers, assorted flavour toffos, whams, pear drops, strawberry bon bons.

It would be nice if we could still get pacers. They were nice.

They were along a bit later, but boost is my favourite sweet still.

I used to love cough candy, the sort that looked like fudge not the boiled sweet kind. And chocolate limes. Now I'm hungry:D
