  Ooh thanks for the heads up. I think it was one of those comedies that went on a little too long, but the earlier episodes were class!

  Old thread, not worth starting a new one.
  
  A brilliant episode today, "Only The Brave."
  
  Where Gladys dreams she's back in WW2 in the RAF.
  All the classic war film cliches.
  Clive's bomber gets shot down and Spike and Ted both with handlebar moustaches, in RAF uniform, caps in hand come to tell Gladys in her country house.
  
  Some great lines.
  The conversation goes,
  
  "Is it?"
  
  "Yes."
  
  "Did he?"
  
  "No."
  
  "Can I?"
  
  "I'm afraid not."
  
  "Thank you for telling me."
  
  "It's the least we could do."

  Hi De Hi is my daily guilty pleasure and decided to check out the characters/actors on wiki, and discovered that it is Su Pollard's 67th birthday today - HAPPY BIRTHDAY Su aka Peggy. There are many 'main characters' in Hi De Hi but IMHO Peggy is the star.
