What are the TV sitcoms that you watched, and recall, that you think are forgotten now, or barely mentioned? Would you like to see some forgotten ones re-made or repeated?
I'll start off with 'Watching' an ITV show from the late 80s about a scouse couple who were mismatches, and 'The two of us' another late 80s ITV comedy starring Nick Lyndhurst!

Oooh yes, loved that
I used to fancy the woman in that, google says Gwen Taylor, though now she looks to me like one of the Scousers from the Harry Enfield show, the hairstyle has dated
David Croft and Jimmy Perry had great success ofcourse with their ensemble comedies but this one didn't take off and lasted just one series of 6 episodes. I can just about remember it.
Last screen appearance apparently for the very genial Harry Worth whose comedy show had that famous optical illusion opening titles. According to Wiki he toured with Laurel and Hardy at the end of their careers. What an experience that must have been!
I have it on DVD.
Oh happy Band was Writtain by David Croft and Jeremy Lloyd
I think I remember this too. I remember Harry Worth waving his arm and leg in that shop window and it looked like he was jumping up and down!
Also I remember Edgar Briggs with David Jason, he was a really hopeless spy who always seemed to catch the culprits anyway and he always carried his breakfast in his briefcase.
Also Get Some In! and Oh no, It's Selwyn Froggit!
Shelley gets mentioned on here, but you don't see it on TV much.
I have the DVDs.
'Orrible, the Johnny Vaughan sitcom.
Shane, the Frank Skinner thing.
Mrs Merton and Malcolm, rarely mentioned even in Carole Aherne obituaries.
Yes my mistake. I suppose I was always going to be half right
Get Some In is currently showing on Forces TV
To think, we'd never heard of Brenda Blethyn and Simon Callow then!
It's not exactly pc, is it?
How so? He isn't racist or sexist or homophobic.
Fascinating little corner of sitcom history. This says it all:

Feel a bit sorry for Craig Cash, its clear there was never any intention for it to be perceived in the way it was. They wanted the Cash character to be a kind of Frank Spencer clone, but he came across as having learning disabilities and it just became a more peculiar, even sinister situation.
Does anyone know if a complete box set will one day be released?
Sink or Swim I think.
Don't remember a narrowboat, but Davison and Glenister played brothers in 'Sink or Swim'. (eta beaten to it. ;-))
Of those mentioned, I loved 'Chance in a Million' and have got the DVDs. Very offbeat and enjoyable. And I used to like 'Lame Ducks' too; it was pretty quirky stuff. Speaking of which;
I'll add 'Mulberry' with Karl Howman and Geraldine McKewan cos I think it was so different and rather lovely.
