Thread removals

I've noticed some threads being removed while I've been here. Some had reason to be, some didn't, imo of course, but what I'd like to know is what happens to those threads? Are they deleted by the mods, or kept for their own voyeuristic purposes, as it were. What do they do with them? Refer to them every now and again? Sell them to the media? Compare and contrast? Which?

    I think they are just hidden and locked.

    They get moved to a "hidden" section of the site. Occasionally it will be opened it up with a small group of members allowed to look through it (at a cost, but with all proceeds going to that months charity ).

    DS have a rule about "why were my threads deleted/what happens to deleted threads?" threads, BTW. They'd rather you contacted them directly if you have any questions.

    Well, they say it goes to charity but it actually goes toward the elite posters Christmas bash.

    They are printed off and used for toilet paper. Same as this one will be. The mods will be wiping their bums with your username.
