Surprising how many users/consumers just won't/don't take notice of the game developers names.
"If you see a shoddy 'me-too' game in the store, don't bother with it, and stick to more reliable titles from proven studios."
And how, pray tell, is a person supposed to KNOW they're looking at a "shoddy 'me too' game" as opposed to the reliable title from a proven studio?
If there is a game in the Play Store called, perhaps, "Flippy Bird" or "Candy Crash" or "Fruit Warrior" how is one supposed to know that it's a knock-off game unless you happen to be aware of the original game?
I can't help thinking that they're terrified of getting sued if they wrongly accuse some dev' of putting out malware.
On a side note, I noticed some of the developers are located in questionable countries so the level of suspicion just increases in my opinion.
