Also I loved Norris saying how Steph is milking it as she only knew her 5 minutes. It's like the writers realised how awful their writing was and are listening to Digital Spy's reaction :') tina never even thought much of Steph... So naive is steph

A few months ago in the pub he was saying it was all circumstantial evidence against Peter, but everyone ridiculed his opinion (even though he has a legal background) so he shut up.
He's often listening in on conversations about the trial with an interested look on his face, and now he's got the job in the shop I reckon he'll twig, and tell Tracey.
Does anyone else think Todd is going to help get Peter off? Or figure out it is Rob?

Do hotels really send out letters to all of their former guests asking them to come and stay again? Roy and Hayles can't have been specially selected as they were only there for a couple of days and spent most of them sight-seeing, so I doubt they spent a fortune in the hotel facilities/room service. Surely the expense of sending every customer a letter would outweigh any repeat business.
If Corrie want to redeem Tracy Barlow they should have her admit - if only privately to her family - that she did wrong with Charlie and try to put the whole incident behind her. That would sit more comfortably with me as a viewer than the flippant "miscarriage of justice" line she keeps trotting out to mild comic effect.
Norris had the line of the episode when he pointed out that Steph had only known Tina for "5 minutes" and that she was "milking" the sympathy.
Simon crying over the wonderful Tina at her graveside just felt hollow. That's where Tina's exit storyline falls down. They had to fabricate these relationships (Tina/Peter, Tina/Simon etc) at the drop of a hat, as otherwise her death would have had no impact on anyone apart from Rita and David. In Simon's eyes she's become some kind of saint even though she only started looking after him a couple of months before she died and it was out of character anyway.
The end scene with Peter in prison switching to Carla in the flat was really well done. A cut above the show's current usual standard.
I admit I've got no idea what the verdict will be, which is rather nice. I don't think Rob will be found out this week whatever happens, so it'll be down to guilty or not guilty. If Peter does get cleared, I imagine he'll leave soon after. Aside from being a murderer (which is apparently okay these days, given Tracy is still allowed to exist), Rob didn't really do anything wrong here, Simon just took it the wrong way. Some decent material from Leanne and some really good material from Steve. Nice to see Tyrone, Fiz, Chesney and Sinead in a supporting role for Roy, I can't remember the last time we saw them all together.
