Barbara Knox asks Police, "Do you know who i am?"

The actress allegedly went to Knutsford police station in Cheshire after daughter Maxine Ashcroft, 56, was charged with drink driving, only to be arrested herself.

She allegedly asked police: “Don’t you know who I am?” before being quizzed and then released on bail.

    I love when people say that to you and you say no to them, had it a few times when when in Manchester a few of the soap actors used to come in.

    They just made it up as usual. I don't believe for a minute she said it. Even the Mail didn't report her saying any such thing.

    Nah, I don't believe it either. Someone always wheels that one out when a celeb has egg on their face. I'm always disappointed that I rarely believe it as I think the notion is hilarious. How I wish they did say it so I could laugh at them.

    The same way you choose to believe she didn't say it then, I suppose? So why do you not believe it for a minute?

    Have you ever met Barbara? Because I have when I worked at Granada Studios years ago. I had 'pleasure' of seeing her several times and she swanned about like she was the Queen>:(! So I can certainly believe she would say that.

    The arrogance of thinking her daughter shouldn't be arrested just because she's in Corrie is breathtaking!
