Paul - Mr Bojangles (Was it Sammy Davis Jr?)
Haley - Last Dance (Donna Summer)

Haha big time doom songs for the 2 I don't like lol :)

    How about....

Stefano - The Man Who Can't Be Moved (The Script)
    James - Grace Kelly (Mika)
Karen - 1, 2, 3, 4 (Gloria Estefan) - I like your suggestion too OP, perhaps she could switch between it and Regresa A Mi
Lauren - Can't Fight The Moonlight (LeAnn Rimes)
Pia - I'm With You (Avril Lavigne) - Trying to think of a more upbeat one though :)

Those are my favourites so far, in no particular order other than the order in which i came up with the songs lol :)

Scotty - Ticket To Ride (The Beatles) - as my dad got me to do a Beatles theme and I can do an impression of Scotty singing this one :)
Naima - Tears Dry On Their Own (Amy Winehouse)
Ashthon - Take A Bow (Rihanna)
Jacob - Everybody In Love (JLS) - To update him a bit and give them some US publicity lol :)

The above group, I qite like, but they're not my faves :)

Most of those I came up with on the spot just now, I'm sure I could do better :)

Oops, forgot Casey and Thia. They both fir into my 3rd group.

Thia - I'm Like A Bird (Nelly Furtado)
Casey - I'm Yours (Jason Mraz) to suit his scatting and update him

    xxxx

I like the idea of Ashthon doing "Work it Out" - it's well within her range, and she'd be able to show off a bit, without being completely overshadowed by the original.

I think it suits her personality- she has got that sassy vibe going on and she could make herself memorable with this.

Yeah Ashthon is one of my favorites so far and I like the suggestions of her singing Work It Out or Ring the Alarm, preferably Ring The Alarm as it's more different.

Are there themed weeks? I can't remember. I hope not though because I'm bored of contestants on this and X Factor singing the same songs we've heard millions of times before.

Yeah, this weeks theme is Musical Heroes.
Ashton sang When You Tell Me That You Love Me by Diana Ross and got slated

    Voice Out Of Hell?

    Soz, couldn't resist :)

Someone should sing Wanna Be Starting Something by Michael Jackson. I don't care who - maybe Stefano or James - it would just be funny to hear the studio version, the lyrics are hilarious! :D

Paul singing Romeo & Juliet (Dire Straits), Wonderwall (Ryan Adams cover of Oasis), Don't Give Up On Me (Solomon Burke) would be nice. Or best of all, Ooh La La by The Faces.

I think that would definitely have to be taken off the list now, seeing as Sugarland are singing on the results show tonight :D

Also, Pia's choice? Can't see that happening in a million years LOL :D

I read that song suggestion on another Idol forum, but I think it was for Paul.

I adore the song, I don't think it's been covered previously on XF/idol has it? I wouldn't mind either Naima or Paul covering it.

Hence the title "Songs You'd LIKE to see them sing"

I picked that when I actually liked Pia- she is so dull now it's unreal.
