There doesn't seem to be a thread where we post pictures of our home made cakes, so I thought I'd start one !
I call this my Karate cake.

I can't believe no-one else makes cakes etc on here !
Or are you all too shy ?
Wow, that looks incredible!
People probably used to posting on food picture thread. Lots of cakes on there.
I don't really eat cakes very often so they're not something I cook.
Love seeing everyone's home bakes tho'. I have some photos, no knowledge.
Lol, yep - I didn't even see this thread. I made after all your talk of cake Andy: Black forest cake
Whoh, never made one of those, that looks so good.

And then these are my home made Woopie Pies (is that how you spell Woopoe Pie?!) although they don't look anything like proper Woopie Pies. Again, they were yummy -

They won't go any bigger than that
Thank you, I dont do all the decorating. Making a VW campervan at the moment. In spare time.
That was weird. Just as I was reading this I glanced at the TV and what was the 1st thing I saw? A VW campervan!
They were something I wanted to try, had made cake truffles in the past, (just left over cake mixed with chocolate ganache) this was left over cake scrunched up with a fork and mixed with buttercream. Put in the fridge to cool and put on a stick. Dipped in melted chocolate, as the cake is cool the chocolate sets fast, so quickly swirled it with a spoon.
These were the good ones, we made 8.
Agreed, Victoria's cupcakes look amazing.
Ohhh they look nice. What sauce have you drizzled on your icing, Victoria ? And is it buttercream or cream cheese frosting ?
