Hi there.
I have a Sony TV (with built-in Freeview), a Toshiba DVD/VHS/HDD combo and NTL digital.
I currently have it all connected, but have no idea how to use the Freeview.
Obviously I can only currently use my HDD to save whatever channel NTL is on and wanted to know if there was a way to set up the Freeview so as to watch one channel (on Freeview) whilst saving an different NTL channel to my HDD.
If this is possible, what would I need to be able to do this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Without wishing to seem rude but you're kidding right?
Anyway - you will have to switch your TV from analogue to digital, (Freeview.) This is done by pressing a button on your remote, (probably labelled digital, DVB or DTV,) and then you're are set.
I would suggest reading the manual for details - typically the first chapter has all you need.
If for some reason you haven't got a manual Sony make their manuals available for download on their website.
That did seem rude, but thanks anyway.
