Anyone else watching this farce, five minutes in and another made up job for the boys (and girls), £85k a year and she doesn't have a clue about what she is meant to be doing. :(

You can tell the actual coppers seriously resent having to deal with this Commissioner wankery.

If I was initially interested in viewing the programme to find out what the heck her job is all about, but was instantly put off by her 'girl power' comment in the preview. It's so cheesy-fied that it stank.

    Is this a joke ?
£85,000 a year and she doesn't know what her role is ?!
Her staff don't know what their roles are ?
    It beggars belief
I started a thread the same time so deleted mine :D

Any minute now she's going to get out the boombox, start playing 'Simply The Best' and force the audience to clap along.

I know her incompetence is supposed to be funny but I'm just getting annoyed think that we are paying this idiot!! I deal a lot with local authorities and having loads of people who don't seem to know what their job is, is the norm.

This is UNBELIEVABLE - The Office meets 2012.....:o

So bad its good - but what a criminal waste of money. Ann is all buzz words - and the more she repeats them, the more she seems to believe them.

I feel so sorry for the senior policemen and women who have worked their way up from beat officers to detectives and beyond only to find themselves under the control of a nobody who drives a van called Ann Force 1.

It is like a cross between Alan Partridge and The Office. This show is doing nothing to make the case for why we need police commissioners!

I find the title Commissioner a complete misnomer. IMO it infers a very senior, serving police officer with years of crime detection experience - not some buzz word repeating pin head who has ideas of greatness.

No crime at Downing Street - except by the Police.

Sickening, she wants to raise council tax! I can imagine its for her pay rise next year. Sack her and use the money to pay for more police. Simple.

How many more police would £80k buy? I think you may find that with on-costs taken into account it would be around 2 at most.

2 police is more useful than what she's doing.
