On Benidorm on ITV tbey have just had a Rolf Harris reference, I no this is a repeat, but very surprised they didn't put on another Ep of it.

    Don't tell the Daily Mail, there will be a sadface photo someone who was appauled by the actions of ITV.

    It doesn't bother me if I'm honest, was just surprised that it was shown.

    Thought everything involving certain celebrities were banished

    We're not living in the Stalinist Soviet Union where people suddenly became a non-person if you fell out with Stalin and your image and name was wiped from everything (parodied by Orwell in 1984). Rolf Harris exists and should not be wiped from history....

    It was only one mention, if honest it doesn't bother me, here or there, but was just shocked to hear it, nowing tgat every other programme, involving Jimmy Savile and Stuart Hal have been banished.

    I do suspect though they will be cutting Del singing Sun Arise. When the episode where Del gets the chance to go to Australia is next shown.

    ITV+1 put up their usual caption for about 10 seconds saying they couldn't show the progamme for legal reason

    I was outraged and shocked that they had the audacity to play a 30 second cover of an old Rolf Harris song. The only thing that will calm me down is some compo.

    What annoys me about this is that. The song Two Little Boys was written in 1902. Long before Harris was even born, Harry Lauder made the song popular and it was popular in the two world wars.

    Now because of Harris version being the most popular and well known. It's going to end up being remembered as a pervert s song and nothing else.

    Found it on the web, Benidorm, Series 5, episode 3

    The first comical mention of Rolf, in relation to having an affair with another celebrity is pretty odd.

    Just plotting through the episode now, I think Two little boys is played at the end.

    (Awful programme though)

    Incredibly bad timing by ITV

    Surely the sensible thing ITV could have done was delayed this repeated episode replaced it with an earlier episode? - it was just before the World Cup they repeated I think was the first two episodes of Benidorm (30 mins each) then following week(s) its been the hour long ones
