A quick look at the at some the tactics they employ from haranguing and intimidating individuals or the media with their 'fair game' policy to enforcing 'disconnects' from family members who try to leave to see they exactly don't behave like your average local vicar. But believe that if you will.

To be fair they are new, has Christianity never acted in a similar, or worse way over its 2,000 year history?

Parents can join Scientology's Sea Organisation if their children are ten or more. As the parents work all the time, the children are berthed at Walsh Manor. The stories from people who were there aren't good at all and there are plenty of them on the internet now.

I think the important thing is what's happening now TBH. Not many people today are affected much by witch burning in the 1600s but a family member taken in by Scientology will certainly have more ramifications for them.

I can personally vouch as to the intimidation tactics employed to try and silence critics although going into would be giving away clues to them as to whom is posting as The Dove. I'm not scared, but I like to keep them occupied :D

What was accepted two thousand, or even two hundred, years ago is not always permitted now. We have laws in this country and no organisation is above them, even it tries to us religious cloaking.

Shows how easily led so many people around the world are, and desperate for easy answers and reassurance.

Always remember a story years ago of someone escaping a cult and being rescued by a born again christian outfit nearby.
talk about "out of the frying pan".

Some victims are just accidents looking for somewhere to happen. While they exist there will always be someone inviting them to come and happen here. For a small fee.

Ain't that the truth. Some among the emotionally needy will always be vulnerable to those offering them what must look like answers for their problems.
Must admit would love to see the $cientologists banished from these shores though.
