What do you think makes someone financially 'rich'

    Rich for me would be paying off my mortgage and loan and my income being at least double my expenditure.

    It would be lovely to buy new if something broke down without having to worry / save up / shove it on the credit card.

    To be able to replace the boiler if it broke, get a new cooker, not worry when the MOT was due on the car would be fantastic.

    I have all that (except I have a mortgage) and it isn't that great - don't feel rich.

    I suppose you just get used to things.
