Not the worst, but certainly not the best. I think it just struck a chord with European music fans that we probably don't 'get' in this country.
Eurodance is very big all over Europe, actually for me the biggest voting surprise was Italy not giving Sweden any points, the Italians like a bit of Trance.
Of course a lot of the other votes could have been predicted as always.
I never understand how europe is so stuck in the past when it comes to music.
Really? Have you looked at UK, US, Australian etc music charts? This could easily be a number one single in all those places! Sounds similar to a David Guetta number and the type of music which is very popular here and in other Western nations - we gave it 12 over the popular Jedward so this shows how big this type of music is!
I liked it and I liked the Estonia song that won in 2001 as well. The worst song to win in recent years was Serbian winner from 2007, tuneless, depressing drivel.
The Swedish song sounded so current, I could easily imagine Radio 1, Capital etc playing it.
The juries probably orgasmed over it - and it probably won the televote (although its possible the Russian grannies did and got nowhere with the juries so a lot of their televote 12s became 6 or less with the jury vote added on).

I don't know why.

Best winning song since "Fairytale"
The UK were always going to do shit in first position.
Maybe some people didnt get it.
But we gave it 12 points. So either we don't get any of the songs Or there has been an error in the voting !

Easy!

She was miming - when I could see her through hair and her freaky dancing

My thoughts exactly. Since we gave it a 12 along with the rest of europe we're really not all that different.

If Sweden are the worst winners, the UK are the undisputed worst losers. Quite whining and suck it up people.
