Not quite 'Deadline Day', but Zouma to Chelsea is done.

Immediately loaned back to his former club, much like Zaha last year.

I want an expensive (£20million+) signing somewhere in europe to go through. Players should be desperate to get game time for the world cup.

From a purely English perspective, your best hope of that appears to be Mangala to City, Draxler to Arsenal or Kroos to United.

I could see the Mangala deal happening, but not the other two.

    Kroos: Little to none.

Shaw: He'd be too expensive, and might not even want to come. He'll end up at Chelsea, I suspect.

I think you could get Shaw but not Kroos til the summer.

You've also been linked with Andros Townsend.

Liverpool are seemingly desperate to sign someone... anyone. This Ukrainian chap looks the most likely for about £20m but TBH I'll be surprised if it happens. I think it's going to be a quiet day, actually.

    Taarabt to Milan is confirmed.

Aaron Hughes to QPR looks like a goer, and there's lots of noise around Berbatov to Monaco.

Arsenal are after some 31 year old Swedish player to fill in for Ramsey while he's injured. Not a like-for-like replacement.

Kim Kallstrom to Arsenal also seems to be getting mentioned. Would have been a good signing a few years back when he was "potential" and a Championship Manager computer game favourite!! Now in his 30s though? Dont see the point.

This Kallstrom to Arsenal 'deal' seems like a really odd one, to me.

Lewis Holtby has joined Fulham on loan until the end of the season.

When he first signed for Spurs i thought he would be a fantastic signing for them but i also thought Lamela would be a great signing also.

Any gremlins turned up at some grounds while the Sky Sports reporter reports on nothing?

Also it isn't a real deadline day unless ol Arry pops up in his car, windows down for an old chin wag.

Andreas Cornelius, record signing for Cadiff City in the summer, is expected to move back to FC Copenhagen for ~£3million this afternoon.

    Nice one Cardiff. :)

Klose to Arsenal? Can see that being a shrewd signing actually.

I'd rather keep Bendtner. Signing Kalou will go down like a fart in a wetsuit. >:(

    I wouldn't worry, Tel.

Arsenal have been linked with Kalou about 168 times, over the last few years. I'd be amazed if that actually happened.

We've been here before sadly where the club decide 4th is their ambition . Most fear our big January signing was puma on Monday and the embarrassing press conference that went with it. Kalou & Kallstom are the type of players Stoke & Sunderland should be chasing, not us.>:(

Safest bet of the day is that Stoke will have the most moronic fans crowding around the SSN cameras. However, Crystal Palace and Hull are expected to put in late bids.
