Three seasons for True Detective

Pizzolatto has said there will be three seasons for true detective and no more.
Im happy with that because on the whole series deteriorate as they get extended.
Im expecting season 2 to be very different from season 1 anyway, more action man stuff,less reflection.If each season takes a different mood tone it will stay interesting.

And Ill always see season 1 as a thing in itself anyway,complete and extraordinary.No need for back up because it was more than enough in itself.

    Looking forward to its return, season 1 was epic and hope s2 will just be as good.

    On a side note I was reading season one director Cary Fukunaga is looking to do the first of two movies based on Stephen King's 'It' next year.

    I was under the impression it was new cast/characters/location/crime.

    Any word on the new cast. I think one rumour was Colin Farrell.

    Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn and Rachel McAdams are starring in season 2.
