Lifelong battle with depression. So very sad. Read such a lovely interview with Marie recently re her daughter and how supportive she is as a mother. She and her family must be devastated. Just so sad.

OMG this is sooo terrible.
It only seems like a few months ago that i was watching An Audience With The Osmonds and there was no hint of the tragedy that was to befall them.
Fortunately though,they are a huge family and i'm sure there will be many more Osmonds born in the future.

Do you think if she has another child that that will replace the boy in her heart and mind? Until you have a proper understanding of grief and bereavement, perhaps you need to keep your thoughts to yourself.

It's a terrible tragedy, and my sympathies go to the Osmond family.

what an awful thing to say! being a big osmond fan, as i am sure there are many others here, and having met all the brothers and marie several times, I know they will be devastated. 18 is no age, and suicide is a terrible thing to be left behind to deal with, always wondering why, and how did you not see it coming. My heart goes out to Marie and the whole family, they will all pull together and help each other through this terrible time.
