Criteria are bit vague - a lot of older Dorothies going through? If they are qualified then so would a lot of people who have already played the role who can look younger than they do including a couple we have seen on previous series.
I played Dorothy when I was 27 as I still looked like a teenager!!! I think as long as the playing age is OK it's not a problem.
It's not the age that worries me with these girls though - they are dire singers.
I get that point but the older ones they are letting through look 25-30 wheras They don't seem to have ones who do look as if they can play down to the age. Helena from Maria played Dorothy soon after that series and maanged to look younger than a lot of the people here who are 18-20.
