  I like the idea of the programme, it's interesting to watch the families watching TV but Caroline Ahearn is really annoying - she's so patronising:rolleyes:

  I love this show...But the 1st series is usually the best, people will start playing up more and more to the camera, mind you if it makes me laugh I don't really mind!
  
  The posh couple are my favourites!

  Hmm I think it might be scripted to an extent - i.e. I'm sure the producers make sure that most of them are watching the same thing and not watching animal planet or Argos TV... also some of the conversation topics seem rather contrived

  Of course they are told what to watch.
  There wouldn't be a programme if they were all watching different things.
  It was clear that probably none of them would have been watching the Egyptology programme from choice!

  I was shocked bu how much swearing the lad did. However by how much use of the "F" word the mother uses I am not surprised. I enjoyed them all. The single dad and his old dad were not on this week were or did I miss them?

  Yes, just said on another post that I think the series should have been longer. I know many folk who didnt know abut it until the third episode. Its one of the funniest shows Ive seen for ages ...love it :D
