Why the long wait for the DVD ?, unless to coincide with the second series.
It was silly but at least it didn't make my eyes bleed, like Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy.

Great news. Immense fun for those us lacking a pole up our rectum.

Bloody hell, I remember Noel Fielding's show. I like Noel and love the Boosh but Luxury Comedy was just bad IMO.

    God that was atrocious.
It looked like it was trying to replicate something of Vic and Bob when they're at their surreal best. But it was desperately unfunny.

Assumed this wouldn't happen. So glad I was wrong. Chuffed because I thought it was great stuff. Yay. :)

    Anyone watch this? :)

    Boobage!

Was that Phil Collins? A bit of me thinks it was.

I don't think it was - it'd have probably been in the press beforehand if they'd got him to do it. To be honest with you I'm not 100% sure that was the real Santa either. ;)

And indeed, quite the attractive er...display from Morgana Robinson.

I'm inclined to agree. Bit more miss than hit. Still be tuning in for series 2 though.

    I think it was. Really.

Thought tonight's Christmas show was a bit weaker than the series, but still some good moments - especially liked Beef saying that he literally can't whisper, and Father Christmas was terrific.

It's so stupid crazy biscuits, but our house couldn't stop laughing at House of Fools tonight.

Favourites were Beef, Julie & the Racist Santa.

For some weird reason Bob's wig thing also makes us crack up.

Kinda get why people don't get/like it. but I thought it funniest show on TV over Christmas....though that's not much of a compliment is it :)

PS so hate Mrs Browns Boys, which is my idea of comedy pooh.

We like what we like Kids.

Have you tried Man Down? That and this were my favourites this Christmas.

Of course it wasn't Phil Collins. First off, it looked nothing like him. And secondly, do you really think they'd get him in and not properly show his face, or have him talk or anything of the sort?

I think this show could do without Bosh. They should try and replace him with Reece Shearsmith and have him play a different character each episode.

Very self-indulgent and consequently very hit and miss (mostly miss). It was as if they went with the first idea that came to them without feeling the need to finesse it. Sometimes this approach can work but not often and certainly not last night.

Just watched it, doesn't really work for me, am a big fan normally, and liked the first ever episode.

I thought it was a pretty good episode, and it looked a lot like the real Phil Collins to my eyes but I guess it was a very good look-a-like ...

I'm the same. It's strange as I've always loved everything Vic & Bob put their names to. It just feels lazy to me, and I still don't think they've got over the axing of Shooting Stars. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they just made this show up hours before recording it. I don't hate it, it just needs finessing. Also when Matt Berry walks in I just think 'oh Reynholm's walked in from IT Crowd' he's too much of a personality and he's swamping VIc and Bob, they need to be the stars in this.

Thought it was one of the funniest things on over the holidays.

It is totally silly but then again you pretty much know what you're going to get.

I believe it's already been recorded, so it shouldn't be too long.
