A 'mostly movie' actor suggest to me someone who does movies but is also well known for a major part on a TV show. Yes, Button has done *some* telly as you mention but he has never been known as a TV actor. Also, the original blind seemed to imply that the actress was more famous - I would say HIS fame eclipses hers at the moment.
It's seemed likely since they got together! I'm surprised they lasted longer than six months, and what with her depression, and his weird ideas abbout vaginas I can't see things being very happy at Darling Buds Towers.
