EE 6/3/2013- The way to a girl's heart is through chocolate and not through age
Ian's got the right idea there:D
Hello, my lovelies- and welcome to this extra special edition of EE tonight @ 8.00! Today promises to be a pretty action packed- a mixture of drama and LUUURRRVVVE!
I'm really liking Ian/Denise- but I'm worried that he is too safe for her as Denise likes men with a bit of an edge. They also work very well as friends- could Dian end up the same as Rolfie?
I love Lola and she has loves Lexi- but I can imagine this turnin out like the custody battle last year with Amy. Lola will probably forget about Lexi within 3 episodes of getting her. She also has a penchant for trouble and Lola can't keep her nose clean. And who in their right mind would grant Phil Mitchell custody of a child? Would be like locking Kat in a room with a gigolo- asking for trouble.
But let's see what is happenin' today?
Today's cast theme: Rhymes
Gossip corner
Probaby the biggest EE news is that Danny Pennant will be back in June as a regular, to many viewers delight I'm sure.
Patsy Palmer has also spoken out, calling Bianca a good mum. I am looking forward to the Liam story- but I think 'Good mum' is somewhat controversial.
It's a double whammy for Patsy as she is featured twice- calling for Ricky to come back.. I always thought he was a bit of a drip but Ricky is a good dad and a good man- and he has lots of history.
Now it is time for... Mystic Mo's
Mo: Oi Alfie! Try this crystal ball out for me
Alfie: Oh, all right, I miserable old hag with unsightly warts
Mo: Oh go away! Oi, you, come look at me ball (not a euphemism)- take a look at what happens today.

So you think you know... Sharon Rickman
*Whilst ranting angrily at Jack* 'I am a friend of Phil and Ian's, my son is in the kitchen eating a biscuit, I'm wearing these [Tanya's] clothes because mine are no longer suitable. Now you can apologise be fore I break the other one [leg].'
Now that is the Sharon we all know and love- strong, fiesty but above all, one of the most morally conscious beings to enter the square. This was Sharon Watts. Sharon Rickman meanwhile is morphing into Tanya Cross mark 2 the longer she spends time with her 'best mate' (Michelle Fowler anyone? Or even Ian or Phil?). Normally when I do my character reviews, I pick a character who will play a big role in the episode, and though she appears, the likes of Billy and Lola will be the stars? Why, therefore, am I focusing on Sharon?
Sharon was one of my favourites, a character that I could really feel for and relate to. Never snide unless pushed, she would always offer comfort and never back down. Though not a fighter, she had to be tough, and this stems from the likes of the misery she suffered around Den, Angie, Grant... the list is endless. However, it appears as if the writers have forgotten this and there seems to be only one female character type- gobby, hypocritical, always looking for a fight. They threw away the complex characterisation of Sharon (one of the most well rounded characters in EE history and one of the few in EE today) to force her to make friends with Tanya (the very embodiment of the qualities that I have mentioned.) Thankfully, she can be saved and the exits of Jack and Tanya will help- Jack's behaviour towards Sharon was disgusting yesterday and though she stood up for what is right, Sharon ended up agreeing after sex and make-up!!
Please save our Princess and give us the Hurricane Sharon that we were promised.

Would be like locking Kat in a room with a gigolo- asking for trouble.
But let's see what is happenin' today?
With Lola and Lexi missing, Phil is furious over the latest turn of events. Needing some help, Phil calls Sharon and she can't help herself from getting involved, leaving Jack furious that she is going running to Phil yet again. Phil suspects that Billy is helping Lola with her runaway attempt, but Billy denies it and turns the tables on him - pointing out that Phil is to blame after his attempts to control everything. When Sharon arrives, she also tells Phil that he has brought this on himself, but she does agree to help him look for Lola while Billy waits at home.
At the same time, Lola explains everything to Dexter at The Arches, wanting some help. However, when Ava finds out that Dexter has been in contact with Lola, she takes him to Phil's. When Sharon and Phil find Dexter on the doorstep, he eventually admits that Lola is at The Arches. Sharon and Phil rush over there, but when they arrive, there is no sign of her and the petty cash tin is empty. With Lola now in a cab with Lexi, they're too late…
Ian buys Denise some chocolates.
Meanwhile, Ian nervously asks Denise out on a date, but he messes up by pointing out that they're both getting on a bit and neither of them will get any better offers. With Denise far from impressed, she then starts flirting with a delivery man who has arrived at the Minute Mart instead. Ian is desperate to make it up to Denise, but she tells him that she now has a date with the delivery guy. As Denise heads out the back to get her coat, Ian follows but accidentally lets the door close, locking them both in. Neither have their phones with them, and nobody hears their cries for help!
Elsewhere, Dot confronts Cora over food going missing from her fridge, but Cora denies having anything to do with it. Cora can sense that Dot is really upset, but Dot doesn't admit her fears over losing her home.

Thanks IM
Easties on a Wednesday !
Looking forward to the show . Great rhyming names
Thanks Klen:cool:
So who is the Yam Man in the credits
I meant every girl he's been with- I couldn't think of a better word
I picked Melanie as she was definitely one of my favourites.
Me too, but more the Ian/Denise scenes than anything else:)
Thanks Maurice- I didn't have time to plan the names today:p
BIB: Well, I just had to do an Ian ep
I think Ian and Mel's wedding is one of EE's finest moments
Needless to say i voted Mandy:D
The Minute Mart delivery guy.
The first clip is hilarious, Ian and Sharon surprisingly suit one another, at least from that clip they do (i chuckled at the fact Sharon gave Ian a 5 for staying faithful)
Denise/Ian Yay
Jack/Sharon Nay
Yes, he did.
Me too
No offence to the bloke but he's no Brad Pitt
My thoughts exactly:p
I love that clip too- watched it countless times, shame there arent any Ian/Sharon scenes these days.
Though it would be weird to see Ian/Sharon together now
Thanks
You're welcome.
Thanks, why are there Wednesday eps do you know?
Don't mention it:)
Its weird, he's not the most charming person at the best of times and is bad in bed.
But deep down, he has a good heart.
Thanks:D
Looking forward to Ian tonight?
Yes he's all tied up ready for me.
