Glad to see I am not alone about J. Aniston. I won't watch Michael Caine since he went political gaga in old age.

Worst example is I think that every bloomin night there seems to be a film on TV starring Arnold Schwarzeneggar. He is turnoff #1 with Stallone #2 for me.

Just realised Steve Carrell is another major turn-off for me. What I've seen of the US Office is not bad but in terms of his films I lose interest in a new project the moment I find out he's in it.

Chris Rock (His voice really irks me and I don't find him the slightest bit funny)
Mel Gibson(never liked him or his films even before he had a meltdown)
Robin Williams(I think the only film of his I enjoyed was Aladdin)

Marion Cotillard bores me, primarily because I really don't like her performances. She seems utterly disinterested in most of her roles. However, I'm yet to see La Vie En Rose so that may change my opinion of her.

    Good thread OP.

For me it would be the following:

    Pierce Brosnan
    Robert Downey JR
    Julia Roberts
    Daniel Craig
Any of the Harry Potter lot.

Yes, Vince Vaughn is one of the great mysteries of modern cinema. It's like some film exec fished out a plank of driftwood from a river and declared it would be a leading comic actor - just for a wind-up or a bet.

    Totally agree with that.

    meryl streep.

you know shes going to be accent perfect and give a wonderful technically impressive performance. and you forget what the film was about.

i prefer earlier stuff like out of africa. when she was often fairly crap. at least i can remember the actual story .......
