I feel quite bad for Matt, he was painted as a flop before his album even came out or had been heard and so whatever he now accomplishes people assume is down to like his friends, family and 18 hardcore fans, which I don't think is true.
I am in no way a fan of him but most people didn't even give a chance.

It's usually good practice to read a post before replying to it. I clearly said I find the whole situation funny in the post you quoted! I'm not in the slightest bit offended and have nothing to get over.
Unless by 'get over it' you mean I should be taking this affront to my musical tastes more seriously and writing a formal letter of complaint to The Guardian's music editor?
