Does anyone know if, and where, you can read what happened in an employment tribunal?
An ex work colleague of mine has taken, successfully, my old firm to court and I wanted to be nosy.

My brother successfully took his employer to a tribunal and won. No idea where you would find out though. I'll assume to tried to google it?
I did, and got a case but not the person i was looking for, just a similar name, so I assume you can read the decisions online?
You can read the decisions of the Employment Appeals Tribunal online, the normal Employment Tribunal decisions I think you can buy from their HQ in Bury St Edmunds. I'm fairly sure they are not online anymore. If he has had a case at an Employment Tribunal he should have got a copy of the full ruling.
I just checked google and like yourself am unable to read anything about my brothers. So not sure what you can do...sorry i can't help
Ah I see, thanks
thanks for trying
I know you posted a while ago but you might be intersted in this. I don't know if old cases will be published so might not be any help to you when it does eventually get up and running.
Might help anyone else looking for same info.

Will be interesting when they get it together, what is it with government and 'software complications'? It's not as if it's rocket science.
Here's the correct link http://www.rjw.co.uk/news-events/directnews/plans-to-publish-employment-tribunal-results-online-put-on-hold_294
For anyone looking for examples of tribunal results, they are available for Northern Ireland on this link http://forms.employmenttribunalsni.co.uk/OITFET_IWS/DecisionSearch.aspx
scroll down to do a search by 'Type of Claim'.
I don't know how the law might differ but it gives an idea of claims that have been brought and their outcomes.
Thanks for that and welcome to DS:)
