The men working certainly aren't in the script department. Tedious and unfunny, enlivened only by J. K. Simmons' guest appearance.
Not destined for a long run.

having finally got round to watching the first episode the show doesn't seem to bad, not exactly destined to be a classic, but there is void in comedies made more for the male market. does the quality stay the same or does it get worse?

I've been watching on Fox. First few episodes were ok but now into its second season its just getting better and better. One of my favourite American imports.

    When?

Because I'm watching it as far upto Uncle Gibbs (season 2) and it still has to make me laugh properly.......although it manages a chuckle sometimes

Its ok, but to be fair, US and UK comedies recently have been really poor
