This is NOT a snow thread :D

Last time i travelled they were doing renovations and the fast track lane was closed which almost resulted in me missing my plane as the queue's were horrific!

I'm travelling on Thursday which is the busiest day for Christmas travel and was wondering if the lane was up and running again? I am planning on leaving myself lots of time to go through security regardless - many thanks x

Nothing untoward reported on the website, maybe ring one of the contact numbers to check?

The trouble is that you don't really know what's happening till you turn up. Last year it looked fine according to the website, when I actually turned up there it was packed with people who been waiting for ages for their flights, which kept being put back instead of cancelled. I was their till 10 at night until my flight was cancelled and ended up having to book a flight with another airline. I wonder if anyone has successfully flown from there to Belfast recently it's hard to tell from their website it says flights are scheduled, but not that they have actually gone!

Some Ireland flights are being cancelled today.

The question was about the fast track lane.

Thanks that's very helpful. If it's anything like last year I don't think the fast track lane will be a problem, given the long delays on flights!
