  Mick, Linda, Shirley, Nancy and Johnny are all overrated in my opinion.
  
  Mick and Linda especially.
  
  Roxy, Lola, Whitney, Kim, Cora and Alfie are underrated.

  I can only speak for Corrie:
  
  Overrated:
  Carla ( the character not the actress)..I just find her confusing sometimes, like they're making her up as they go along & often inconsistently!!
  Sally... one dimensional character going round in circles
  Liz...never liked her & she just keeps getting worse
  
  
  
  Underrated:
  The windass/Armstrong brood
  Maria
  Kirk
  Sinead
  
  I have based these on opinions of the forum users rather than their usage on the show, don't know if that's what the OP intended!?
  In Carla's case though I know Alison King is good i don't think she's worthy of quite the Goddess status some on here seem to have bestowed on her!!

  Carla CS - she's alright but some FM on here think she's the Queen of Corrie.
  Gail CS - same storylines been happening for years.
  Mary CS - unfunny and cringey character.
