Quite possibly, if you have an insistence on the presence of a Y chromosome.:o Each to their own, but I'd got the impression that it wasn't quite your thing:D
I don't recall ever seeing rapists and child abusers being referred to as gentlemen anywhere. I am sure the word gentleman may have been printed somewhere at some point but I don't think it's common for papers to use that term for sex offenders.
I don't mind lady/ladies but I can't stand to hear grown women referring to each other as 'girls'. It makes me cringe.
Yes! Even worse when a guy uses it on fully grown women. Heard one earlier from a middle-aged man to a group of elderly women: "Come on, girls. Let's have you in the bus."
What's wrong with 'gentlewomen'? It existed until recently. I wonder why it was dropped?
Yes, but with time. Sometimes the meaning of a word changed. 'Harlot' was a man with no fixed address, male tramp or male vagabond. It became an euphemism for a male actor or jester. And with time, it evolved to an euphemism for a female prostitute.
I'm just a lot more observant than most. Still, you'll be on to it in future if you listen to such things.
So it's all good. I like to think I'm making a difference.
I watch and read the news. As, I'm sure, do most of the users on here who have been refuting your claims. Why is it that we seem to miss this blindingly obvious "fact"?

Trust me it happens all the time.
I'm sure you'd like to think you would.
No, it really doesn't.
I'm sure you're trying to find a mountain in a spot where there isn't even a molehell.
So you'll have no trouble posting up a few links to demonstrate this apparently widespread practice, then?
No it doesn't.
I don't have links to TV newspaper reviews. Do you watch any by chance?
If so you'll see what I mean now that I have alerted you..
BIB: What does this actually mean? Reviews of TV programmes in newspapers? It doesn't make much sense.

'Hello, women' lacks the ring of 'good evening, ladies.'
What about "gentleman" and "gentlemen" ?
Disagree anyway. At work we have "male toilet" and "female toilet" which I think is vile and dehumanising.
We're not buying what you're trying to sell. Off you trot, wind-up merchant.
Take a break, mate.
How about you take a break with your faux "I know more than you" rubbish? You're trying far too hard now
I'm not trying to sell you anything, Mo.

Truth is, we don't and you're exaggerating.
