I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out he's actually alive at the end

Maybe him and his manager have faked his death in order to get the cash rolling in

Here's hoping. I love Michael Kitchen as John Farrow - he obviously thrives in the role.

As do they all but he stands out for me.

Too right. I first saw MK when I was a kid as Bramwell Bronte. That role stuck with me and I know he continued to have a successful career as a serious actor. But John Farrow is IMO his best role, his own Malcolm Tucker so to speak.

Not really - we saw Brian and Peter Gabriel smash into each other whilst on their Segways at the end of series 2. Massive explosion - no one could've survived that.
Strangely they must've recorded series 3 before that and transmitted it later...

My hope is that this is all a masterplan cooked up by Farrow to boost album sales and Pern isn't actually dead. And lol at 'segway mistake'

Maybe he's spending a year dead for tax reasons.

Thank you so very much for sharing that with us.

Well done on knowing nothing at all about spoof stories about a rock 'legend' based on Peter Gabriel. I take it you haven't heard of him either.....or common sense.

Anyway, can't stop, I'm off to the Jeremy Kyle thread to tell the readers there that I've never heard of him. I know they will be thrilled.

Poor Brian.....

The world will never have another 'Succulent Chinese Meal' or 'A Song With Whistling In It'.

Joking aside, I'm glad it's coming back, one of the funniest BBC Comedies in recent memory.
