I'm in the bristol area and need to rehome a pretty chihuahua x poodle bitch because of ill health of her owner. I wish I could keep her myself but I cant - too many commitments.
Don't be tempted by free ads etc good rescues will home check and know how to choose the right people to match with the dog.
Try and give them as much information as you can and be brutally honest - much better they know the worst about the dog it will help them choose the right home.
agree with the poster above, please dont advertise in the paper, im in devon, and if you could pm or email me i'll be happy to ask about, i run a dog training club so will be able to ask about for you:)
I've rehomed a dog from Many Tears in Llanelli,
Carmarthenshire, South Wales who have a no kill policy. That's not too far from Bristol, about an hours drive when we did it.
They find homes pretty quickly for their dogs and they thoroughly vet those who apply. I'd have no hesitation in recommending them.
