Has Wagner really been made to sing 'Spice up Your Life' by the Spice Girls?

Is so, what the hell?! Can't Louie come up with some songs that would genuinely suit him.

If it is true, I'd say it was right up his street. He hardly needs a song to show off his vocal talent. Whether he can sing or not, he has taken on the role of comedy entertainer in this year's show. Just take the lyrics:

    Slam it to the left
If you're having a good time
    Shake it to the right
If you know that you feel fine
    Chicas to the front
    Uh Uh and around

    Slam it to the left
If you're having a good time
    Shake it to the right
If you know that you feel fine
    Chicas to the front
Uh Uh Hai Sí Ja Hold Tight

La La La La La La La La La
La La La La La La La
La La La La La La La La La
La La La La La La La

I can see him making the most of those....

This song is ridiculous for him, the words are really fast and will be hard to say quickly in a foreign accent and also the song choice was apparently changed last minute so he'll have to learn the words from scratch, and it probably won't be a song he's familiar with. They're trying to screw him... :(

However there are rumours that it's going to be mashed up with Living la Vida Loca - now there's a song that will suit his Latino charm ;)

Whatever happens, can't wait to watch his bongotastic performance. He always makes the best of what he's given!

I think it will suit him - the lyrics are pretty fast but it has a latino/samba rhythm - bongo tastic! :D

Verence, you have a point. Nobody will hear it anyway as it'll probably be shown in the Death slot.....

You can bet it'll be something pretty bad this week.

They owe him for that phone call.

So it would be in their best interest not to, anyway one of Louis's acts went first last week and they got to be fair, hasn't Katie slagged off Cheryl or something and they haven't had a go at her over it

    Liam McKenna just tweeted saying:

Wagner singing Spice Up Your Life may just turn out to be one the best things you will see on tv in
    2010 #tvgold

I'm inclined to believe him. :D

Wagner told the truth basically. And now he is being treated like shit for it. He was basically stating that they were giving him bad songs and the show is now a joke. Pretty much the truth in my eyes.

I'm so disappointed- all week the rumours have been that he was doing Relax by Frankie Goes To Hollywood :(

He could sing the phone book and I would still vote for him :p

Seems VFTW have picked Wanger this year as well :)

I just hope they allow him to sing Opera if he's in the sing off..but I'm not convinced they will.

He should put his foot down as Ruth Lorenzo did with Purple Rain (Cowell didn't want her to sing it).

It'll be a shame if he goes without being allowed to sing what he wants just once.
