Fantastic and moving film, Matthew McConaughey was superb in the lead role, but Jared Leto's performance was jaw dropping. He so deserved the Oscar. I'm now confident in him filling Heath Ledger's shoes as The Joker in Suicide Squad. Incredible film.
TRANSFORMERS AGE OF EXTINCTION - 6half/10
more epic robot bashing crashing and bashing, inpeckable action sequences, but like DARK OF THE MOON, it was TOO EPIC for the single film treatment!
leading to the story being slightly bitty and broken, which brings the score down!
please make the fifth one in two parts
and watched THE SWEENEY again, and since i concentrated on it more i got more of the story, so it was actually BETTER! really liked it ..... and as usual i have an idea for it's sequel
The original, btw, and watched for purely academic reasons. Belongs firmly to that distinct bracket of 'peerless classics' that are actually a bit of a drag. 6.5/10
Jagged Edge
Early version of Joe Eszterhas' much recycled did they/didn't they script. Pure trash, of course, but the court scenes are great stuff. 6/10
War of the Worlds
Spielberg & Cruise take on the SF classic and - let's be frank here - spunk it up the wall quite alarmingly. 3/10

I'm watching this at the moment.
For a film that seems quite dull and hard to relate to for someone who is not religious it ends up packing quite a sturdy punch.
Not many films have had me reaching for the Bible for my bedtime reading after watching them.

Really great performances (I love both Cate Blanchet & Sally Hawkins so much), but I've never really been a fan of Woody Allens films.
Was only an hour and a half long though, and so I did enjoy it. Some parts were very funny, but te end was pretty depressing!

I love this film.
Because it was sad... I love Baymax and thought the film was quite good...

Looks like it cost 20 bucks to make and the money was wasted.
