Last week's farce!

HOW is crab eyes still there?

Boots did not like the product - WHO could like that product? Jesus h..........They liked the name (Book-eze, but even here i am wondering why?! hardly inspirational!) and wanted to do something with that name COMPELTELY DIFFERENT to what they had designed. That arch , dear god.................

Please don't even begin to give any credit to the bumbling buffoons that were this team.

The only one talking any sense at all was Joanna and it is a FARCE she got a warning?! Absolute farce, without her they'd have had AIR. Unfortunately if you are making some valid points and getting ignored and shouted down you have to be more forceful in your approach which she was.

HOW did team leader not get sacked? Her management style was to stop everyone talking, say absolutely nothing of any use herself and then run off crying all the time! And then after all of that she was given one last opportunity to redeem herself and she couldn't have handled it worse! So after all that turns up in boardroom, with ZERO orders and still stays. a real shame , makes a joke out of the programme which by and large I love.

They had other ideas... They wouldn't have had "AIR".

Ideas that were all shot down by the designers as they were already on the market. So no they didn't have any other viable ideas at all.

I watched the show again last night, and was surprised to see that it was not Boots who said they "loved the name", but one of the other travel companies. Strangely, Boots actually seemed to like the product:eek:

The product was completely terrible... were Boots told to like it by the producers?

But let's be honest, how many of us could come up with something new and innovative for the beach, design it, promote it and sell it in a day?!

Even Lord Alan himself wouldn't have a chance in hell, unless he could somehow sell awful quality midi hifi systems that doubled up as a beach chair/fridge/dressing room that folded up into a carrier bag.

All these daft and now tired tasks aren't really showing anything other than how to make irritating TV.

How about some realistic tasks which might actually show some talent and have some hope of success? Maybe selling properties, raising finances or cleaning commercial properties - seeing as the supposed best of the best do this as their day to day jobs...although didn't one of the best of the best contenders last year actually turn out to fit Sky dishes? :D

Boots liked the idea behind the product but wanted to work on it.

You could have made that smaler and firmer. 2 vertical rods that enter the sand that also form support for the back... a couple of horizontal cross pieces to hold them apart and 2 more vertical bars to hold the bookpages open. Adjust to suit a working model.

You certainly don't need a flimsy tent-like thing.

The idea isnt bad and is actually quite practical, it wasnt excuted well and thats bascially it. I agree with the OP on everything else though, the team lead should have gone and Joanne shouldnt have been used as a scapegoat for the rest of the team especially as she was the one who was proactive.

The monstrosity they created looked like it would blow over with the first gust of wind (or a slight sea breeze even)!!
