Brilliant photos as per usual Waj :), even the Ram looks like a poser for the lens. :D

Today I visited Ephesus & took a bunch of photos including a few of the ruins of the Celsus Library. Well I say a bunch of photos, since my arrival in Izmir on Tuesday, I have taken almost 700 photos & tomorrow is my last day here. Once I get back home in the later part of next week, I will do the post processing (which is going to be a bitch of a job to do), and then share the links on the usual page on here :)

    Thanks :)

Wow! 700 photos will take ages to process ...sounds good though :D

from a charity shop yesterday i bought [among other things]:

    a piece of pink organza

    a piece of calico

    a rolling embroidery frame

and a 100 piece magnetic fridge jigsaw.

    today:

i`ll be making teeny rag roses with the organza and embroidering a garden theme piece with them and various techniques and materials [beads, buttons, applique etc.]

and starting on 100 fridge magnets in all manner of designs and materials.

    Ordered a sofa from Argos.

Finally realised as much as I want to clean my home myself, my body has infuriatingly different ideas..so bit the bullet and contacted a specialist domestic cleaner. Highly recommended, and was exceptionally kind when explaining to her just how mortified I was at having to ask for help - even if paying for it.

Got 10 mls extra E-Liquid from a company who I shopped with a second time..and are without exception the very best suppliers of high quality, great priced e-liquids to be found here in the UK.

    http://vapeescape.co.uk/

Their Grizwald's range of tobacco juices is unsurpassed.

Finally had the Young's white fish in parsley sauce, with mash (butter, salt & pepper beaten in) and frozen mixed veg dinner I'd been promising myself for over a week.

Only recently discovered that frozen veg is far healthier than fresh veg, because it's picked fresh, frozen, retains the nutrients, and is only ever fresh again when you cook it...as opposed to sitting in a warehouse raw, then a supermarket shelf, then your cupboard/fridge. And also that microwaving it is akin to steaming it, and retains far more of the freshness than if you boil it..which additionally boils away the best of aforementioned nutrients.

So been a busy, productive and informative day..(well yesterday now I guess..but hairs/splitting etc)

i have to do this sometimes thought it`s my head not body, i know how you feel, don`t be embarrassed though you feel it, it isn`t a shameful thing.

Cheers annette. From a disciplined background where keeping your living space in pristine condition was the norm..and I enjoyed it..to unable to do it myself, has certainly messed with my head for longer than I've ever cared admit to myself.

Swallowed the pride at long last, and whilst I'd sooner have kissed a possessed hungry crocodile - there's time's when you have to just admit defeat and acknowledge that you need help.

Just over an hour ago, I went on another forum I frequent, to find there was a big scare over a member posting about a pills overdose. There was a running commentary of posts from people trying to trace this person's whereabouts.

Long story short: person who made original post, now posting apologetically from hospital.

Once the apologies are done, I really hope he/she can find the help - or whatever else it may take - to never find themselves in that situation again. Glad it ended safely for them. Sorry to hear it came to this.

I just looked at their prices :o I know it's made-to-order, which is fine if you have the £££ :D I'm very happy with BigJuiceUK thanks very much :D and they do Anise, I don't vape anything else ... I know many vapers love to swap and change flavours, I cannot be arsed with all of that, want something I enjoy all day, every day - Anise is that for me and BJUK is fantastically priced and a UK company, with very speedy delivery. If I did want a big selection, they have a humungous one :D

Thanks. Personal pride and ferocious independence has served me well in the past. But what worked then, has been holding me back now..so yes..time to accept that circumstances change, and old stubborn 'safe' habits need to be filed away permanently so as to adapt & cope now.

What have I done today - except reply to a couple of threads, I've looked around for a cassette player for my Dad - who is in hospital and cannot recall how to use anything technical, so Mum wanted to buy a basic, old-fashioned, cassette player so that he could listen to his old jazz gigs whilst he's there. Harder to find at a reasonable price than I thought it would be.

I've also been looking at iron-on labels so that she can easily put his name into all his clothing, which seems to disappear at an alarming rate on the ward, and will likely also disappear once he's moved into a care home.

Later she's microwaving (she can't stand up long enough to cook) us an Easter meal, at her insistence, as she would love the company and chance to see my daughter for a bit. I did offer to make the food, but she is determined to do this herself. I shall be taking her another lovely orchid, she loves orchids. She can't face chocolate anymore.

Appreciate they may not be the cheapest..but far from top end in terms of pricing either.

Obviously budget always has to come first - same here. It's the quality for me which wins the day. They do actually have some offer on at the moment, for 5 ml samplers with 20% off, should curiosity ever entice you.

i make my own, it's abut 100 times cheaper & i can put just 1mg of nicotine in, any vg/pg ratio i want.

I'm in one of the top flats of a semi split into four flats. I can hear the bloke downstairs next door keeps being sick. Reckon he might have drunk too much last night.

Can't wait to see them on a decent sized screen, however I do admit that my lightroom knowledge is extremely limited to the extent that I have only dared to use the Autotune function and then the slight exposure notch.

I did a 5km jog and then went to have an Indian meal. Now cuddled up in bed with my cat. I won't do very much else for the rest of the day. Everyone's away/busy.
